She will develop and promote educational guidelines and programs around rights, permissions and fair use as they pertain to teaching, research and publication, and she will lead instructional activities relating to best practices in the management of author’s rights and appropriate reuse of copyrighted content. Scheid will support campus students, faculty and staff in navigating copyright matters in the creation, use, dissemination and open sharing of scholarly work.
